Comedy Zone Fairfax Ready to OPEN

We are proud to announce the opening of our second club in Northern Virginia.
The Comedy Zone Fairfax will open January 18th and 19th with a 10:15 PM start time. So if are out looking for some great live entertainment Friday or Saturday noght we now offer an early show at Floyd's (8 PM) in Alexandria and a late show (10:15 PM) in Fairfax.
Our new home is located at Vespucci's Fine Italian Restaurant at 10579 Fairfax Blvd. That is Route 50 at Chain Bridge Road just east of Fair Oaks Mall.
So now every Friday and Saturday you have two choices for Comedy.
the Comedy Zone Alexandria - 8 PM at Floyd's and
the Comedy Zone Fairfax - 10:15 PM at Vespucci's

Shaun Jones returns to the Comedy Zone

This is the Comedy Show of the year for us. Even if it is only the first weekend of the new year. Welcome 2008 in with some excellent entertainment. The Comedy Zone is proud to bring you Shaun Jones. He has been on TV (Comic View regular) and major motion pictures (Shade, Ace Ventura Two) and now he is coming to Alexandria to perform at Floyd's. This is stand up comedy at it's best.

The week before Christmas and all is quiet.....maybe not. What you need is a break from the insanity called the Holiday Season and come out and relax and let us entertain you. Ninety minutes of laughter is just what you need. This week's show is sure to lighten your holiday spirit.
As we appreciate all we have. Will Marfori knows what it's like for a person to live with a disability. He was born with Cerebral Palsy. But he doesn't know how to allow this to keep him from entertaining audiences as he shares this experience and his unique perspective on life. His high energy, clever way of interacting with people makes him very likable & laughable. By the end of the show, they don't remember Will Marfori having cerebral palsy - they remember having a good time!

Exit Choas, Enter Tim Statum this week

Another week flying by. We would like to appologize to everyone who made the show on Saturday. Through a scheduling snafu, there were two live shows at Floyd's at the same time. they tryed to pull it off by allowing both to proceed as planned. The sound from the other show made it impossible to concentrate on the show in front of our guests. Lucas Bohn, our feature comic struggled and Mike Speenburg, who has traveled all over the world to literally thousands of clubs, said it was the worst situation he has ever had to perform in (at least fully clothed). They tried their professional best and managed somehow to entertain our guests but our appologizes go to both of them for putting them in this situation. Floyd's has assurred us that it will not ever occur and they came to the realization that comedy is not the same of music. Not only do we have the best comics around, but we found out that our guests as just as wonderful. The support they gave Lucas. Mike and ourselves after the show was heart warming. THANK YOU. On to this coming weekend.

All I want for Christmas is for you to come to a show at the Comedy Zone in Alexandria. We have an incredible line up to close out the year. This weeks comic, Mike Speenburg is awesome. A true professional comic who will have you laughing your direies off.
