Football Pain, Comedy Laughter

The Steeler's loss was painful this week against the Ravens, but not nearly as much as Giant fans are feeling the pain. The sack that was and then wasn't.
Well at least the Comedy Zone came through this week. Chris Wiles was one of the best acts to come through in a while. He will be back soon, but remember his name, you will see it again in the future. Another good weekend for the comedy coming up, Miss Gayle is headlining this weekend, and for those that know her (lots of reservations already) and those that don't.....she is a funny woman, no doubt about that. Should be a great weekend for the Comedy Zone.
Heather's recovery is progressing well, she is about to begin the painful process of rehabilation. As always we want to thank everyone who has/is praying for her recovery.
After we close at 2 AM, we go shopping because we can. Harris Teeter is there when you are. They are open 24/7 and that is something to marvel at. A grocery store busy at 2:30 in the morning.
Wanda and I are heading home tonight fromthe Palasades Mall in West Nyack New York, where I worked in the newest Chevy's for two days while Wanda shopped. Two days in a mall for Wanda is scary for me. Wierd mall, huge but built on a landfill and it is sinking and smells horribly outside. Inside there is a full size ferris wheel and there is a tight rope that you can ride a bike across for $20, three stories above center court. Pretty cool mall other then the smell.
Hopefully we will see you soon

NFL Network available at Zig's this Season

Zig's will be airing the NFL Network Football games on Thursdays at 8 PM. Of course the Steeler's play on Thursday December 7th and we wll be having a party. The only way to watch these games are on the NFL Network, no other channel will carry these games so plan on coming out to see the game with the staff here at Zig's.
The last two weeks of the season the games are on Saturday nights including the Giants/Redskins on December 30th. Plan on enjoying the games at Zig's this season with the NFL Network.

Post-Operative Time for Heather

Heather's surgery was completed and she is home recovering. Still too early to tell the outcome, but it looks good so far. We wish to thank everyone who thoughts and prayers were with her throughout this ordeal. She says her throat hurts the worst and itching to get back to Zig's, which I do not understand, but you know Heather.
In the meantime, the Comedy Zone had another full house on Friday and looks good for Saturday already. Andy Hendrickson was hilarious and we look forward to a great show for Saturday.
We have entered a commercial we produced for Doritos in an online contest. Check out Doritos.com and look for our video.
Stop by an say hello some time, the strip center has really changed for the better.
See you soon,
Tom

Heather's Surgery this week

The big news for us this week is Heather's surgery on her neck. Everything kinds of takes a back seat to her reecovery. Zig's is in capable hands with Bettina and Heather running things for us.
We want to thank everyone for their support of the Comedy Zone. Every show, since Harris Teeter has opened, has been crowded, which makes for a better show and allows the comic to be funnier.
Lunches are looking good and the weekends are back to pre-construction levels,
The only spot not bouncing back is Monday through Thursday dinner business.
So please consider us when you are going out to eat during the week. Nice, quality dinner in a quaint atmosphere.
Cory has been busy with Garrett, Kennedy, and Aidan producing a Doritos commercial for an online contest. They will need your votes to make it to the next round. More info to follow on that.
Otherwise we thank everyone for their prayers and positive thoughts for Heather and we will see you real soon at the restaurant.
Thanks again,
Tom

Comedy Zone expecting Full House this Weekend

Wow, a week removed from Aruba and we really miss it. It is truly paradise. Scott and Kathleen are home now as husband and wife. We wonder if it is same here as in Aruba?
We had such a great time it is hard to get back into the work thing, but like everyone else we have no choice.

Another full house on Friday and sold out show on Saturday, so please make reservations if you plan on coming to the show. We expect (hope) this trend to comtinue. Both shows were outstanding, the crowd adds to the show immensely when it is a full house. This weekend's headliner is Basil White, another Comic View veteran who is extremely funny.
A special show this Thursday, Jennifer Chopin, comes to Zigs with her award winning songwriting and acoustic music. Yes, She is Harry Chopin's daughter and can sing with the best of them. She has been here a couple of times and is a class act all the way. A beautiful evening of music for a slight change from the comedy. We hope to see you this weekend.

More thanks to Harris Teeter and it's crew. Their support for us is already legendary. These are some great people working in a beautiful building. You need to check it out if you get a chance.
Of course when you are there don't forget to stop by and say hello to Bettina and the staff at Zig's. We really want to serve you!
